J. Cole released a surprise four-track EP titled Birthday Blizzard '26 on January 27, 2026, ahead of his 41st birthday. The project is hosted by DJ Clue and sold exclusively through The Fall-Off website for $1.
The EP features four freestyle tracks:
"Bronx Zoo Freestyle" opens the project over Diddy's "Victory" instrumental. "Golden Goose Freestyle" uses Black Rob & The LOX's "Can I Live?" as its foundation. "Winter Storm Freestyle" is performed over The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Who Shot Ya." The closing track, "99 Build Freestyle," uses The LOX's "Money, Power, Respect."
The release experienced server crashes due to demand but became available to purchasers later that evening. The EP arrives ahead of Cole's upcoming album The Fall-Off, scheduled for release next week.
