The New Balance 9060 represents a modern interpretation of the brand's 99X series, incorporating design elements from classic models including the 990, 991, and 860. The silhouette features expanded sway bars borrowed from the 990, a tongue logo inspired by the 991's lace jewel, and a diamond outsole pattern derived from the 860.
The "Cortado" colorway presents a monochromatic construction with refined materials across the upper. The shoe maintains the 9060's signature Y2K-inspired aesthetic through its sculpted pod midsole featuring exaggerated proportions and wavy lines.
