The Knicks finally got out of the East

Wembanyama is the variable nobody has solved
San Antonio ended Oklahoma City's bid to repeat behind the 2026 Defensive Player of the Year, who averaged 24.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks across three regular-season games against New York. Stephon Castle, who held Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to 41% shooting in the conference finals, gives the Spurs a second defender capable of disrupting Brunson's late-clock work.
