Nike unveils Vaporfly 4 and Streakfly 2

Nike continues its relentless pursuit of support for runners with speed and innovation by introducing the Nike Vaporfly 4 and Streakfly 2

The Vaporfly 4 stands as the lightest iteration in its storied lineage, incorporating new insights from elite runners to refine the silhouette that started the super shoe revolution.

Meanwhile, the Streakfly 2 is purpose-built for shorter races, offering a lighter and more aggressive stance for distances like the 5K and 10K. Both models showcase Nike’s unmatched dedication to runners, whether elite competitors or everyday athletes.

“The Vaporfly 4 is the ideal Vaporfly. Nike nailed it,” says Mohammed, a Nike athlete and Canadian long-distance runner. “There are so many aspects I love about this shoe: It’s lighter than its previous iteration, more responsive, gives a comfortable ride, has a stable feel, and offers a great fit. Simply put, it’s the perfect combination of carbon to foam in this shoe to date. I love running fast in this shoe.”

Release Date & Price

Nike has confirmed that the Vaporfly 4 and Streakfly 2 will be available globally in March 2024 through Nike.com and select retailers. Official pricing details have yet to be announced, but previous Vaporfly models have retailed around $250, and Streakfly models have been priced around $160.
