Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Waves "White/Hyper Crimson"

Dropping on Air Max Day 2026, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'White/Hyper Crimson' inverts the pack's lead colorway — shifting the wave to white leather and reducing the orange to a precision accent on the Swoosh and outsole.

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Waves "White/Hyper Crimson"

The "White/Hyper Crimson" colorway is the second entry in Patta's latest Waves pack and a deliberate inversion of the primary "Hyper Crimson" pair that dropped on March 6th, and it's scheduled for release on Air Max Day on March 26th, 2026.

Where that version plastered the orange across the signature wavy mudguard over a neutral grey base, this one flips the script: the wave arrives in white leather, the upper settles into a Pure Platinum mix, and the Hyper Crimson lands on the Swoosh, outsole, and branding — accent instead of foundation. It's a lighter, more summer-ready read on the same concept.

The wave-shaped mudguard remains the most important design element in the conversation. Tinker Hatfield's original Air Max 1 blueprint from 1987 is one of those silhouettes so foundational that most collaborators don't dare alter its lines. Patta did, and the move paid off in a way that still feels surprising — the undulation turns a heritage runner into something that reads completely differently on foot, like the shoe is in motion even when you're standing still.

Each pair ships with a gold bracelet featuring a charm of the Surinamese flag, a tribute to the heritage of Patta founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume "Gee" Schmidt. The Hyper Crimson orange itself has long been tied to Dutch national identity — the Royal Family's color, worn by every Netherlands national team that's ever played. This isn't incidental. Patta builds meaning into the product, which is part of why the Waves series has staying power beyond the aesthetic.

How to cop: The "White/Hyper Crimson" (II7055-100) is expected to drop on March 26, 2026, via pattaxnike.com, SNKRS, and select retailers at $150.

Patta stores are located in Amsterdam, London, Milan, and Lagos. True to size. The grey "Hyper Crimson" pair is already available now if you missed the March 6th drop — check Patta's site and secondary markets.
