sacai is closing out March with one of the more emotionally resonant drops of the season — a capsule collection dedicated to Aaliyah, built around the iconic imagery from her beloved single "At Your Best (You Are Love)."
The pieces arrive as part of designer Chitose Abe's Spring/Summer 2026 collection titled "Coming Home," and the Aaliyah reference was never incidental. At the SS26 Paris runway show last October, the phrase "At your best, you are love" appeared printed across a T-shirt in the fifth look — a quiet declaration that carried the weight of the entire collection's thesis. For Abe, Aaliyah's legacy isn't borrowed nostalgia. It's a philosophical anchor: the idea that love, at its most grounded and genuine, is the truest form of expression.
The capsule keeps the product tight and intentional.
