BEAMS and Polo Ralph Lauren are reissuing the "JAPANORAK" at the end of January 2026. The archival jacket was originally created for the Japanese market and has become a sought-after piece on the secondary market.
The jacket features a matte black exterior with premium leather hardware on zippers and drawstring toggles. The interior has a royal blue lining. "JAPAN" appears in all-caps across the front utility pocket alongside the Japanese flag.
Reggae and dancehall sound system Mighty Crown from Yokohama serves as the official ambassador for the release. Barber Daku Nishiyama (Dak), who has designed his own versions of the JAPANORAK, confirmed the reissue on Instagram.
The release date is scheduled for late January 2026. Pricing has not been announced.
