Key Points
- Bronson's first signature shoe with New Balance, the 2811.
- "Baklava" lettering on the tongue; molded TPU V-shape around the toe.
- Suede, mesh, and TPU upper on the ABZORB sole from the NB 2010.
- Announced June 25; a Fall/Winter 2026 release is expected.
Action Bronson now has a signature shoe. The rapper, chef, and longtime New Balance collaborator announced the New Balance 2811 on Instagram, confirming it as his first signature silhouette with the brand — a step up from the colorways and capsules that built his "Baklava" line into one of NB's more distinctive cultural partnerships.
The shoe carries that identity into the design. "Baklava" lettering is stitched across the tongue, a molded TPU piece forms a V-shaped cage around the toe, and the upper mixes mesh, suede, and TPU overlays with co-branding on the tongue. Underneath, the 2811 reportedly rides the same ABZORB-cushioned sole unit found on the New Balance 2010, the dad-shoe-adjacent runner that has carried much of NB's recent lifestyle momentum. Bronson first teased the model courtside earlier this year before making it official.
What makes this notable is the format. A signature silhouette is a different commitment than a signature colorway — New Balance is handing Bronson an actual last and toolkit rather than a paint job, the same move that turned its partnerships with Joe Freshgoods and Salehe Bembury into franchises. For an artist whose creative output already runs through his own Baklava Industries, owning a shoe outright is the logical next node. New Balance and Bronson have not announced final release details, but the timing of the unveiling points to a Fall/Winter 2026 drop. Freshgoods, one of those franchise partners, just took the model a step further, opening an Every Now and Then flagship anchored by an exclusive New Balance 992.
