About the role
This role owns the supply-chain systems strategy and roadmap across supplier collaboration, procure-to-pay, planning and forecasting, logistics, inventory visibility, and analytics-driven workflow applications. It leads the cross-functional technology team — product managers, software engineers, ERP/PLM developers, designers, and analytics engineers — responsible for delivering, operating, and improving those systems. The work sits at the intersection of procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, finance, and manufacturing, translating messy operational constraints into systems that solve the actual workflow. It is a builder's seat: customize, integrate, automate, and rethink workflows rather than install software and call it done.
What you'll do
- Own the supply-chain systems strategy and roadmap across supplier collaboration, procure-to-pay, planning/forecasting, logistics, inventory visibility, and analytics-driven workflow applications.
- Lead the cross-functional technology team responsible for delivering, operating, and improving supply-chain systems, including product managers, software engineers, ERP/PLM developers, designers, and analytics engineers.
- Partner deeply with Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, Finance/AP, Manufacturing, Data, Engineering, and Security to build systems that solve the actual workflow, not just the stated request.
- Create durable mechanisms for prioritization, intake, roadmap management, stakeholder alignment, and operational support without turning the org into a slow process machine.
- Translate messy operational problems into clear system designs, phased execution plans, and measurable business outcomes, treating data quality, reliability, integration, access controls, and auditability as first-class requirements.
- Use AI, automation, and workflow redesign to cut manual coordination and make buyers, planners, warehouse operators, and supply-chain leaders dramatically more effective.
Your profile
- 7+ years leading systems, product, business applications, or technology teams supporting complex physical operations such as supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or field operations.
- Strong understanding of one or more of: supplier management, procurement, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, supply planning, or material movement.
- A track record of solving cross-functional operational problems where the answer required more than one system, team, or process change.
- Strong product and systems judgment — distinguishing a local workaround from a durable platform capability, and knowing when to ship the pragmatic version now versus invest in the scalable version later.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, and adjusting quickly as facts change, with high agency and ownership.
- A builder mindset: not satisfied with installing software, you customize, integrate, automate, and rethink workflows to make the business materially better.
