Google announced Wednesday that Gemini now offers full-length, free SAT practice tests through a partnership with The Princeton Review.
Students can access the practice exams by asking Gemini "I want to take a practice SAT test," which launches a separate window with the exam content. The tests are available at no cost and on-demand through the Gemini app. The SAT is a 2-hour and 14-minute standardized test consisting of two sections: reading and writing (32 minutes) and math (32 minutes). The maximum possible score is 1,600 points. Upon completing a practice test, Gemini provides immediate feedback highlighting strengths and areas requiring improvement. The AI assistant also explains correct answers and helps students understand concepts related to questions they answered incorrectly.
Google stated the practice tests use "rigorously vetted content" from The Princeton Review to ensure students prepare with material that closely resembles the actual exam. The announcement was made at the British Educational Training and Technology (BETT) 2026 conference. Google plans to introduce additional standardized test prep options in the future. The company is also expanding Gemini features to Google Workspace for Education users, including AI capabilities in Gmail and Google Docs for students and teachers at no additional cost.
