Hasbro has tapped Carla Vernón — CEO of The Honest Company and former Amazon VP — to join its Board of Directors, bringing deep consumer brand and franchise expertise to the table.

Hasbro has appointed Carla Vernón, Chief Executive Officer of The Honest Company, to its Board of Directors. Vernón has served as CEO of The Honest Company since January 2023, where she has overseen a strategic and financial transformation focused on operational discipline and profitability.

Before joining The Honest Company, Vernón held the position of Vice President of Consumables Categories at Amazon, managing profit and loss, supply chain, and technology responsibilities for Everyday Essentials categories. She previously served as a Corporate Office and Operating Unit President at General Mills, where she led brand building and growth initiatives for Cheerios, Annie's, Nature Valley, and Larabar.

Rich Stoddart, Chair of Hasbro's Board of Directors, stated that Vernón brings extensive leadership experience across consumer brands and franchise management.

Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks highlighted her expertise in building brands, creating consumer experiences, and driving innovation and transformation as the company executes its Playing To Win strategy.
