Kevin Durant's KD 19 goes monochrome. The "Candy Apple" — officially the University Red colorway — drops June 17 for $155 (style code IH1117-600), after an early SNKRS release on June 13, finished head to toe in deep red.
The shoe
The build leans on the KD 19's molded synthetic shell, whose natural sheen gives the all-red treatment the glossy look that earned the carnival-snack nickname. Underfoot is the full-length Zoom Air Strobel setup that has anchored the line and kept the 19 a real on-court option, not just a lifestyle pickup. At $155 it sits below most premium Air Max retros.
Where it sits
This is the third KD 19 colorway we've tracked this cycle, after the launch "Bright Ceramic" in May. Where that pair pushed a cream-and-coral lifestyle read, "Candy Apple" is a clean tonal makeup — the kind of all-red that moves at retail without needing a backstory. Durant has been styling KDs off-court more aggressively since the Houston trade, and a full-red pair fits that wardrobe as easily as a uniform. Durant's monochrome run continued with the KD 19 'Blueberry Blast'.
