OG Anunoby's Skechers SKX Nexus 'NYC Blue' PE Opens for Pre-Order in July

Key Points

  • Skechers opens pre-orders for the SKX Nexus "NYC Blue" PE the first week of July.
  • The shoe ships in October 2026.
  • Anunoby wore it for his Game 4 NBA Finals game-winning tip-in.
  • He is the second NBA player with a shoe at Skechers.

Skechers got a championship co-sign it could not have scripted, and now it is selling the shoe. OG Anunoby's SKX Nexus "NYC Blue" player edition — the blue-and-orange Knicks makeup he wore for his Game 4 tip-in in the NBA Finals — opens for pre-order the first week of July, with shipping in October.

The shoe was meant to stay a player exclusive. Skechers reversed that after the moment it produced: with 1.2 seconds left in Game 4, Anunoby tipped in a missed Jalen Brunson three to swing the game, part of the run that gave New York its first NBA title in 53 years. Demand for the exact shoe on his feet did the rest.

Skechers' quiet NBA build-out

Anunoby is only the second NBA player with a shoe at Skechers, and the brand says a full signature model is in development with no design or date yet. The SKX Nexus is the existing performance model the "NYC Blue" PE is built on; standard pairs retail for $100, though Skechers has not confirmed pricing for the Anunoby edition. For a brand better known for comfort walkers than hardwood performance, a Finals-winning Knicks championship shoe is credibility a media plan can't buy.
