- Company: Page Vault
- Location: Remote, United States (2–3 in-person team meetups/year)
- Compensation: $150,000–$180,000
- Type: Full-time

About the role
As a Product Engineer on Stencil, you'll work both front-end and back-end challenges alongside customers, designers, and engineers — taking enhancements from idea to shipped and getting to customer learning fast. It's a high-ownership, AI-tool-native role for someone who builds across the full lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Discover, ideate, build, and launch product enhancements that drive value for Stencil customers — and iterate quickly on what you learn.
- Collaborate with customers, your team, and internal stakeholders to guide product decisions.
- Develop and maintain core components of the Stencil platform with an eye on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute to design discussions and code reviews to keep code quality and best practices high.
Your profile
- Significant experience as a full-stack engineer, product manager, UX designer, or related technical field — or a demonstrated record of building and shipping code with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).
- Drives impact quickly: identifies problems, proposes solutions, builds, tests, measures results, and decides next steps from what was learned.
- Familiarity with and enthusiasm for daily use of AI-assisted dev tools.
- High ownership mentality — self-directed, full-lifecycle builder who takes a feature from idea to shipped.
- Strong problem-solving skills; effective in a remote, collaborative environment.
- For senior/staff levels: proven experience leading multi-quarter projects, mentoring, and shaping technical/product strategy.
