Sitting on Scotiabank's Identity and Access team, this Senior Product Manager shapes digital banking authentication experiences from discovery through delivery. The role defines secure sign-in and step-up flows that satisfy regulatory and security requirements without sacrificing client experience. It calls for a client-first practitioner who can build reusable, scalable authentication capabilities and translate compliance and control requirements into shipped product. Expect to set the multi-year authentication roadmap and partner daily with scrum teams to execute it.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the strategic vision and multi-year authentication roadmap
- Build reusable, scalable authentication capabilities for secure sign-in
- Lead discovery informed by client needs and real-world threats
- Partner with business, compliance, and control functions to translate requirements into product
- Define OKRs and use data and behavioral analytics to drive product decisions
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and partner with scrum teams daily
Your profile
- 6+ years shipping consumer-facing digital products end to end
- Proven experience shipping authentication changes at scale
- Deep understanding of modern authentication — passwordless, MFA, device binding
- Working knowledge of agile/scrum, engineering, and UX/UI design
- Privacy and security embedded into product delivery, with the technical curiosity to build fluency in complex systems
- Strong influence, communication, and analytical skills for ambiguous problems; Engineering or Computer Science degree an asset
