Databricks closed a $5 billion round at a $190 billion valuation on August 13, led by Coatue Management with Blackstone, MGX and T. Rowe Price participating. That is a 42% step up from the $134 billion valuation it carried in February, and the proceeds are earmarked for products that help businesses build and manage AI agents. Details via CNBC.
