Marvel Television's January 27, 2026 premiere of 'Wonder Man' features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II starings as Simon Williams, a struggling actor desperate to land the lead role in a Wonder Man remake, mentored by Ben Kingsley's Trevor Slattery. This show is Created by 'Shang-Chi' director Destin Daniel Cretton and showrunner Andrew Guest.
Wonder Man, an 8-episode series, premieres January 27 at 6PM PT only on Disney+.
Marvel's film side is moving too: David Jonsson has been cast as T'Challa's grown son in "Black Panther 3," with Ryan Coogler returning to direct for a December 2028 release.
