The Air Jordan 4 "Tour Yellow" returns on September 5, 2026 at $220, twenty years after its only previous release. The retro carries style code IO2463-102 in the original White/Tour Yellow-Dark Blue Grey-Black colorway and arrives in full family sizing: $165 for grade school, $105 for preschool and $90 for toddler. It releases through Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
What "OG" means for this pair
The Tour Yellow is not a 1989 original. It debuted in 2006 as part of Jordan Brand's LS line, a non-original colorway on the retro silhouette. Its reference point was outside basketball entirely: the yellow of the Tour de France leader's jersey, at the height of the Livestrong wristband years.
The pair carries a construction detail from that era. The Flight tongue patch is removable, and underneath it sits hidden "RARE AIR" branding. The same removable patch had appeared a year earlier on the UNDEFEATED Air Jordan 4, Jordan Brand's first sneaker collaboration, which released June 23, 2005 in a run of 72 pairs. The Tour Yellow is also listed as the "Rare Air" Air Jordan 4.
The 2026 pair keeps the construction identical to 2006, per Sole Retriever. The upper is white leather throughout. The Jumpman tongue tag is bright yellow on black. The midsole is yellow under black paint splatter. Black runs through the outsole and the lace wings, which finish in metallic silver endpoints.

The Air Jordan 4 has been one of Jordan Brand's most-worked silhouettes this year, and most of that work has been new colorways rather than returns. The line ran "Toro Bravo" at $220 in May, "Birds of Paradise" in women's sizing in July and "Comic" at $230 two days later.
