April is the month that separates the collectors from the casuals. Tax season puts money in pockets right as the sneaker calendar goes into overdrive — and 2026 is no different. From the 10th anniversary of Kobe Bryant's final game to Pharrell's newest statement on what a sneaker can look like in 2026, the month is packed. Here is everything dropping, when to show up, and what you need to know before you spend.
April 2 — Nike Mind 001 (Three New Colorways) | $95
Nike's mindfulness-themed slide has been selling out consistently since it debuted in January, and April brings three new colorways: Sail/Hyper Crimson, Geode Teal, and Team Red. At $95, the Mind 001 remains one of the more accessible drops of the season. These are expected to be broad releases. Find them at Nike.com and select retailers.
April 2 — Converse SHAI 001 "Camo" | $130
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's signature Converse gets its boldest treatment yet, with camo overtaking the entire upper. The SHAI 001 has been a quiet hit — less hyped than Jordan's roster of collabs but earning genuine wear time from players who appreciate a clean, low-profile performance silhouette. Style code A19839C. Available via Nike.com and Converse stockists.
April 3 — Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 High OG "Alaska" | $230
The most story-heavy drop of the month. The VAA Air Jordan 1 "Alaska" colorway has been rolling out globally through select retailers, and April 3 marks its widest distribution point yet. White on white with the archival construction and Abloh's signature detailing — this is the conclusion of the "Alaska" chapter for the collection. Style code AA3834-100. Check SNKRS and confirmed global partners.
April 3 — Fragment x Nike Air Max Liquid | $225
Fragment Design's first collaboration on the Air Max Liquid — only the second version of the silhouette overall — arrives in a clean Black/Anthracite treatment. Hiroshi Fujiwara's entry into the Air Max Liquid story is a big deal: it brings cultural credibility to a model still establishing its identity. Style code IQ8601-001. Expect a raffle or draw via Nike and select Fragment-adjacent retailers.
April 4 — Pharrell x adidas VIRGINIA Vario Flat Earther | $140
The most interesting design statement of the month, and possibly of the year so far. After the Jellyfish went oversized and chunky, Pharrell has gone in the exact opposite direction: the Vario Flat Earther is barely there, riding on an ultra-thin midsole with a laceless, shrouded upper and a velcro strap carrying Three Stripes branding from toe to midfoot. It evokes soccer boot construction and minimal loafer aesthetics simultaneously. Two colorways drop April 4 — Cloud White/Core Green (KI7669) and Cloud White/Core Black (KI7668). Both at $140 via the adidas app.
April 9 — Nike Air Force 1 Patent Pack | $120
Three candy-colored patent leather Air Force 1s land April 9: Topaz Gold/Pine Green (IO4489-700), Dark Team Red (IO4489-601), and Mystic Navy (IO4489-400). Patent leather on the AF1 is a perennial move, and this pack's color palette pushes toward bold spring energy. $120 each. Available at Nike.com and general release retailers.
April 10 — Jurassic Park x Nike Ja 3 "Raptor" and "Explorer" | $135
Ja Morant's third signature shoe has already been a commercial success, and Nike is now taking it into franchise territory with a Jurassic Park collaboration. The "Raptor" colorway (IU7240-001) runs in Anthracite/Yellow Ochre, while "Explorer" (IU7240-300) goes Green Spark/University Red — both reads on the film's palette. A third "Metallic Silver" colorway follows on April 21 for $145. Available at SNKRS and Nike retailers.
April 13 — Nike Kobe 11 Mamba Day Pack | $200–$220
The emotional anchor of the month. April 13 is the 10th anniversary of Kobe Bryant's final NBA game — the night he dropped 60 points on the Jazz, closed out a 20-year career, and said goodbye to the sport on his own terms. Nike is marking the occasion with a two-pair drop: the Kobe 11 Elite Protro "Fade to Black" (IM4260-001, $200) and the Kobe 11 EM Protro "Mamba Out" (IU4902-900, $220). The "Mamba Out" features a stat-graphic upper cataloging Bryant's career milestones — draft day, point records, final game — in gold on black. Originally a NikeiD exclusive, this is the first time the design gets a proper retail release. Both pairs at select Nike Basketball retailers and via SNKRS.
April 15 — Nike Air Griffey Max 1 OG | $170
Ken Griffey Jr.'s first signature sneaker returns in its original colorway, 20 years after introduction. The Air Griffey Max 1 occupies a specific lane — crossover appeal between sport, culture, and nostalgia — and the OG colorway (DD8558-100) is the one that matters. $170 via Nike.com and select retailers.
April 18 — Air Jordan 11 Low "University Blue" | $195
Last seen in 2017, the Air Jordan 11 Low "University Blue" makes its third appearance in April. Originally launched in 2001 as "Columbia Blue," this is a classic spring/summer Jordan — white mesh, patent leather overlay in Carolina Blue, clean and wearable. Style code FV5104-100. $195 via SNKRS and Jordan Brand retailers. A safe, strong bet for anyone who slept in 2017.
April 18 — Nike Air Foamposite Pro "Camo" | $240
The camo Foamposite Pro originated in 2013 and now makes its return with added military detailing reinforcing the theme. Style code IM5204-001. At $240, the Foam continues to command a premium, and the camo treatment is one of the more beloved non-colorway looks in the model's history. SNKRS and select retailers.
April 25 — Air Jordan 5 "White Metallic" | $215
Originally part of the AJ5's first retro run in 2000, the "White Metallic" returns with Nike Air for the first time. Full family sizing is expected. The clean white and silver combination remains one of the most universally wearable Jordan 5 colorways — this one lands with both longtime collectors and general consumers. Watch SNKRS for the draw.
April 30 — Air Jordan 6 "Cap and Gown" | $215
Timed for graduation season, the Jordan 6 "Cap and Gown" (IR2266-010) arrives in black with reflective silver touches. It's the third model in Jordan Brand's graduation-themed series, and given the track record of black Jordans — the "Black Cat" 4 and "Gamma" 11 both proved the market is there — this one could see strong secondary demand. $215 via SNKRS.
Where to Buy
For Nike and Jordan Brand releases, the primary channels are SNKRS, Nike.com, and confirmed retail partners including Foot Locker, Champs, DTLR, and JD Sports. Raffle entries at boutiques like Bodega, Concepts, and Extra Butter are worth tracking for limited drops like the Fragment Air Max Liquid and the VAA Jordan 1. For adidas releases including the Pharrell Vario Flat Earther, the adidas app is the primary draw channel. Most drops go live at 10am ET.
The secondary market is active on StockX, GOAT, and Alias. For the Kobe 11 Mamba Day pack specifically, expect demand to outpace supply — plan for resale or set your alarm early.
