Nike is releasing the First Sight Shadow "Metallic Silver" on July 24 for $145, in women's sizing only, via Nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers. The style code is HQ2410-002, and it is the second colorway of a silhouette that pulls the brand's molded-shell design language out of the archive and files it under a women's lifestyle line.
A Flightposite for the First Sight line
The Shadow's upper is a one-piece molded shell covered in raised circles, blob-like ridges and small indented details — the same construction idea Nike used on the Flightposite during its Alpha Project era around the turn of the 2000s. On the "Metallic Silver" pair, that shell reads bright silver, with a black neoprene bootie forming the collar and interior. A teardrop-shaped opening at the toe exposes the black material underneath, small Swooshes sit near the forefoot and on top of the shoe, and black pull tabs finish the heel. The translucent outsole carries a pale blue, icy tint and wraps high around the rounded heel.
The molded exterior is the whole point of the shoe, and it is why the Shadow looks nothing like the retro runners and court silhouettes that dominate the current women's calendar — closer in spirit to a concept sneaker than an everyday lifestyle shoe.

The other colorway
The Shadow first surfaced in an all-black makeup, style code HQ2410-001, described in its full color breakdown as Black/Metallic Dark Grey-Anthracite-Multi-Color. On that pair the same molded shell takes on an iridescent sheen across the textured surface, a darker counterpoint to the metallic finish. Nike has not confirmed a firm release date for the black pair, which was revealed earlier in 2026 ahead of the "Metallic Silver."
Where it sits in the First Sight line
First Sight is a women's franchise Nike launched in March 2026, positioned around self-expression and sitting outside the brand's performance categories while borrowing athletic construction language. The line debuted with the First Sight Noir, a $125 track-spike-and-loafer hybrid with a pointed toe, and the Shadow is its more maximal, molded counterpart. The women's-exclusive framing places it alongside the run of women's-sizing drops Nike and Jordan Brand have leaned into this summer, from the JAIDE x Air Jordan 11 Low "Fiberglass" to the Air Jordan 4 "Birds of Paradise," which lands the day before the Shadow.
