With the 2026 World Cup taking place on home soil this summer, Nike has unveiled the USMNT's official home and away kits — and the design brief is clear: honor the crest, perform in the heat. The home kit roots itself in the federation's foundational identity, while the away kit is positioned as a future classic — bold, clean, and built for a new generation of American soccer. Players featured in the campaign include Tyler Adams, Folarin Balogun, Sergiño Dest, Ricardo Pepi, and Diego Luna, signaling where U.S. Soccer sees its identity headed.
The technical centerpiece across Nike's entire 2026 federation collection is Aero-FIT, the brand's most advanced cooling apparel system to date. Engineered at the yarn and stitch level, Aero-FIT uses a specialized knitting process to create open and closed mesh zones that move air across the body and lift fabric off the skin — delivering more than twice the airflow of legacy fabrics.
Given the summer heat of host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the performance case for the technology is as much practical as it is promotional. Graphic elements are knit directly into the fabric rather than printed on top, preserving airflow without sacrificing visual design. Nike also notes that the kits and accompanying training collections are the brand's first elite performance apparel made from 100 percent textile waste, produced through advanced chemical recycling.
