October 2026 carries a lighter collaboration slate than September but a heavier retro one — the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Royal" and a 2005 Air Jordan 14 return anchor a month built around Halloween-themed colorways, a run of designer adidas collabs, and the debut of Caitlin Clark's first signature shoe. See September's calendar for last month's 58-drop stretch. Here's October as it stands on the 5th — the first week has already released, with the heavier dates still ahead.
The retros
The Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Howard University" opened the month October 1 at $155. The Air Jordan 6 Low in black/pink foam/laser fuchsia followed October 2 as a kids-exclusive release (GS $150, PS $85, TD $60), and the Air Jordan 3 "Fireside" — a women's exclusive at $205 — landed October 3 alongside Jordan Brand's Black Pack, the first drop under the new 232323232323 platform. The Air Jordan 1 High OG "Royal" returns October 10 for $185 — the OG black-and-royal-blue colorblocking in its familiar leather build, with a special shoe box pulling from one of Michael Jordan's early Nike photoshoots. It's the marquee retro of the month. The Air Jordan 5 "Halloween" glow-in-the-dark colorway now lands October 24 for $220, the Air Jordan 12 "Egg Nog" releases October 17 for $205, and the month closes October 31 with both the Air Jordan 14 "Forest Green" — a 2005 colorway back for the first time in two decades, timed to Halloween, at $215 — and the Air Jordan 4 "Pink Thunder" at $220. The Air Jordan 1 Mid "Día de los Muertos" rounds out the retro slate at $145, date still to be confirmed.
The collaborations
The adidas Samba reworked with Five Ten climbing rubber released October 6 for $120. adidas leans on designer partners for the rest of the month: Song for the Mute brings multiple Samba OG and SL 72 Pro colorways October 16, Pharrell's Adistar Jellyfish "Red" follows October 24 for $300, Bad Bunny returns October 17 with the adidas Gazelle Indoor at roughly $140, and Molly-Mae's Samba "Matcha" ($110) and Superstar "Latte" ($132) land October 23. On the Nike side, Nike's Air Force 1 '01 "Subway Rat" with a MetroCard hangtag released October 7 for $150. SoleFly's Air Jordan 5 collaboration also opened October 1 (price TBA), and Nike's new Mind 001 silhouette debuted in "Tarp Green" October 1, with a "Palest Purple" colorway following October 15. The Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 '01 collection runs a five-city rollout through the month: Yellow opened October 1 around ComplexCon, Blue hit New York October 10, Green follows in Detroit October 17, and Purple closes out in Tokyo October 24 (a Black colorway caps the series in Miami in December, outside this month's window). Pricing hasn't been announced for any Victor Victor colorway.
The signatures
Halloween runs through the performance lineup this month. Caitlin Clark's debut Nike Caitlin 1 releases in a "Halloween" colorway with a glow outsole October 23 for $150 — the biggest signature-shoe story of the month. Sabrina Ionescu's Nike Sabrina 4 goes vampire for its own "Halloween" build the same day, October 23, for $145, and Ja Morant's Nike Ja 4 High gets a "Halloween" colorway around $180 with a date still to be confirmed. PUMA's MB.06 "Hills" — LaMelo Ball's signature, a homage to his Chino Hills roots — releases October 16 for $130, and Nike's Kobe 10 Protro "5AM Flight" returned October 5 for $200. adidas' Anthony Edwards 3 adds a "Snow Camo" colorway October 9. New Balance's Made in USA fall slate rounds out the lineup with the 990v4 "Silver Moss" ($185) and the 992 in "Aminé" ($220, released October 9) and "Light Arctic Grey" ($220) colorways.
