September 2026 carries 43 tracked drops, the heaviest month on the calendar since spring, and the collaboration slate is what separates it from August's retro run. Comme des Garçons, Travis Scott, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Mowalola, and a 13-shoe Pokémon collection all land inside four weeks. Underneath that sits a deep Jordan retro wall and two signature launches. Here's the month as it stands on September 7 — the marquee stories first, then every dated drop.

The collaborations

Comme des Garçons Homme Plus opened the month on September 5 with two Air Jordan 11 colorways at $358 each, a black/white and a white/black — the price moved up from earlier reports, and it makes these the most expensive pairs of the month. Travis Scott's Air Force 1 Low "Ice Blue" arrived September 4 at $120, his cheapest Nike release in years. J Balvin returns to the Air Jordan 4 on September 25 with the OG "Lemonade" ($225, style code IW2872-700), a follow-up to his 2020 and 2022 collaborations that he debuted at Super Bowl LX. Bad Bunny splits his month in two: the Badbo 1.1 on September 15 at $120, then the Badbo 1.0 "Night Navy" on September 26 at $160.

Mowalola takes over September 18 with an Air Jordan 14 ($255) and an Air Jordan 14 Mule ($180), joined the same day by APB's Air Jordan 11 Low ($200) and JAIDE's women's Air Jordan 11 Low ($205) — four collaborator projects on one date. The Pokémon x adidas 30th anniversary collection gets its wide release September 22, thirteen pairs spanning Superstar, Adistar, Samba OG, ZX 8000, and Megaride F50, priced $110 to $180. And Nike's One Piece Air Max Plus "Devil Fruits" collection closes the run on September 25 at $180.

The retros

The Jordan retro slate is the month's backbone. The Air Jordan 4 "Tour Yellow" ($220) landed September 5, its first retro since 2006. The Air Jordan 7 "Tennis Day" ($215) follows September 9, the Air Jordan 12 "Bucks" ($215) and the UK-exclusive Air Jordan 4 "London" ($220) share September 12, and the Air Jordan 9 OG "Space Jam" ($215) is the retro of the month on September 19. The back half brings the Air Jordan 5 "Sunset" in women's sizing (September 25, $205) and the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Last Dance At The Garden" ($145) on September 26.

Nike's retro end is just as busy. The Air Max 95 Big Bubble "Greedy" returns September 8 at $200, the Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 "Penny Hardaway" follows September 10 at $200, and the Air Foamposite Pro in black and multi-color arrives September 18 at $250. The Air Diamond Turf 2 "49ers" already came back September 4 at $170, Deion Sanders' 1994 colorway in its first retro since 2012. Terror Squad's Air Force 1 "University Red" moved to September 9 at $150.

The signatures

Two signature lines reset this month. The adidas Anthony Edwards 3 "Cold Blooded" (September 15, $130) is Edwards' third shoe and the first to run adidas Hyperboost cushioning instead of Lightstrike. Nike answers with the Ja 4 "Jaws" on September 18 at $140, a shark-themed build styled after the 1975 movie poster, with grade school sizes at $115. The Nike Sabrina 4 "Superstition" (September 9, $135) and the Puma MB.06 "Shooting Star" (September 25, $130) round out the basketball end, and Converse's SHAI 001 gets two looks — the "Cheetah" lace-up on September 3 at $120 and the "Ghosted" Ox on September 24 at $140.

Notable this month

The Air Jordan 9 OG "Space Jam" on September 19 is the biggest retro, and the Comme des Garçons Air Jordan 11 pair at $358 is the most expensive drop of the month by $103. September 18 is the densest single date with six releases, four of them collaborations — Mowalola's two Air Jordan 14s, APB and JAIDE on the Air Jordan 11 Low, plus the Ja 4 "Jaws" and the Foamposite Pro. The adidas Anthony Edwards 3 on September 15 is the month's only new signature model, and the 13-pair Pokémon x adidas collection on September 22 is the largest single collaboration by volume.
