The Air Jordan 13 "Flint" returns August 1 for $215 (style code IW3808-400), the fourth time Jordan Brand has retro'd a colorway that has never worn Chicago Bulls red.
The 2026 retro keeps the 1998 spec: white tumbled leather across the toe box, laces and tongue, soft grey suede on the midsole, mudguard and heel, and navy mesh panels woven with reflective 3M threading. The green lenticular hologram on the lateral collar — the shoe's signature "panther eye" detail, depicting a basketball, the number 23 and the Jumpman logo — carries over unchanged, as does the navy Jumpman embroidered on the tongue. Colorway is listed as Navy/University Blue-Flint Grey-White.
Flint first released February 14, 1998, at $150, during Jordan's final season with the Bulls. It was the only original 13 colorway that skipped Chicago's red and black, built instead around the navy-and-grey palette and the panther-paw outsole tied to Jordan's "Black Cat" nickname. Jordan Brand has released Flint five times total — the 1998 original, then retros in 2005, 2010, 2020 and 2026 — a cadence that has run five to ten years apart, a pattern that shows up across the brand's deepest retro cuts, including the Air Jordan 13 "Chicago," which returned for the first time since 2017 back in March.
Full-family sizing is available at launch: $215 for adults, $165 for grade school, $105 for preschool and $90 for toddlers. The shoe ships through Nike SNKRS, Nike.com, Foot Locker, Champs Sports, Hibbett and select Jordan Brand retailers.
The release lands in a year when Jordan Brand has leaned hard into OG-spec heritage returns — the Air Jordan 5 "White Metallic" came back in April with corrected Nike Air heel branding the 2015 retro had gotten wrong, and the Air Jordan 7 "Miro" returned in July after an 18-year gap. Flint's fifth release keeps the 1998 spec unchanged. The Air Jordan 6 "Oreo" joins it on August 8, another heritage retro landing the same month. A second Air Jordan 13 follows days later: the Air Jordan 13 “Wings” drops August 6 at $215 with a wear-away black denim upper, the first 13 issued under Jordan Brand’s Wings education program.
The original-spec retros keep coming: the Reebok G-Unit G6 returns August 20 at $130 in a 1:1 recreation of its 2003 colorway.
Further out on the calendar, adidas and Pokémon release a 30th anniversary collection in September priced from $110 to $180.
