The Air Jordan 6 "Oreo" returns August 8, 2026, at $215 — the black-and-white colorway's first reissue since it debuted in 2010, according to Sole Retriever. Style code CT8529-108 covers the release, which ships in full-family sizing at $215 for adults, $155 for grade school, $95 for preschool and $80 for toddler at Nike SNKRS, Foot Locker, Champs Sports and Hibbett.

A speckled cult favorite, gone for 16 years

The Oreo 6 isn't an OG colorway tied to a Michael Jordan season — it's a general-release build that first appeared in 2010. Its nickname comes from the black-and-white speckling across the midsole, lace lock and heel spoiler. Jordan Brand has retroed several Air Jordan 6 colorways over the past decade and a half without bringing Oreo back, making the 2026 release the model's first reissue in 16 years, per WWD. The Air Jordan 6 itself turns 35 in 2026 — Tinker Hatfield designed it for the 1991 season, when Michael Jordan wore it to his first NBA championship, per SneakerNews.

What's in the build

The 2026 version keeps the original recipe: black nubuck across the toebox and midfoot, tumbled white leather paneling on the collar, and a black speckled midsole with white accents underfoot. An icy blue Jumpman logo sits on the speckled lace lock, and Jumpman branding replaces the Nike Air mark on the heel, consistent with the model's general-release status. The outsole is semi-translucent rubber.

Part of a loaded August

The Oreo 6 is one of nine sneakers on Uristocrat's August 2026 drop calendar, sharing its August 8 release date with the Air Jordan 17 Low "Black Patent." It follows the Air Jordan 13 "Flint" OG, which opened the month on August 1, and precedes the Air Jordan 9 "Space Jam" closing it out on August 29 — three heritage retros in one month, each pulled from a different era of the line's history. The Black Patent 17 Low is priced at $245, making it the pricier of the two August 8 releases; both ship the same day across Nike SNKRS and the same retail partners carrying the Oreo 6.

The Air Jordan 6's August run continues later in the month: Awake NY's "Playful Pink" collaboration on the same silhouette drops August 29 for $230.
