Mitchell & Ness x Supreme Spring 2026 Collection Drops May 21

Supreme's Mitchell & Ness capsule — officially licensed Braves, Astros, Nuggets, and Washington Bullets merch — drops May 21. The retired Bullets name is the whole thesis.

Mitchell & Ness x Supreme Spring 2026 Collection Drops May 21

Supreme's Spring 2026 calendar adds a Mitchell & Ness collaboration built entirely on licensed sports nostalgia. The collection — officially licensed MLB and NBA merchandise — drops May 21 in the US and May 23 in Asia, through Supreme's webstore and physical locations.

Four franchises, one of them retired

The capsule is anchored by four teams: the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros on the baseball side, the Denver Nuggets and Washington Bullets on the basketball side. Three of those are current franchises. The fourth is not — Washington's NBA team has been the Wizards since 1997. Reaching back for the Bullets name is the most telling decision in the collection. It is not a licensing accident; it is the entire point. Supreme is not selling a team, it is selling the era a team belonged to.

What's in it

Outerwear leads — a hooded satin varsity jacket and a wool varsity jacket, both carrying Mitchell & Ness's heritage-grade patches and chain-stitch embroidery. Below that: sweaters, zip-up hoodies, basketball jerseys, fleece, sweatpants, and basketball shorts. The denim is where the collection gets specific — an all-over-print Atlanta Braves loose-fit jean and a heavy, '90s-cut Washington Bullets baggy denim short. Co-branded headbands and New Era fitted caps round out the accessories.

Why this collaboration makes sense

Supreme has always run on borrowed equity — its strongest collaborations attach the box logo to something that already carries cultural weight, from a luxury house like MM6 Maison Margiela to a film studio to, here, the licensed-sports archive. Mitchell & Ness is the obvious partner for that last one: it is the brand that turned authentic throwback jerseys into a category in the first place, the label hip-hop wore through the early 2000s. Pairing the two is less a fashion statement than a precise piece of audience math — the Supreme customer and the vintage-jersey customer have been the same person for twenty-five years. The Bullets denim short will be the resale story, but the satin varsity is the piece that actually defines the drop.
