The Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Air Force 1 Low 'Iron Grey' releases today on SNKRS after a September 12 run at select skate shops. It comes in White/Coconut Milk-Iron Grey under style code IO8439-100 at $125. The build uses off-white leather with grey mesh panels, "YUTO" molded into the medial side, his feather crest on the heel and insoles, and a small red Swoosh on the heel tab with a "7" graphic. The SB version adds board-feel modifications and extra collar padding. Horigome won Olympic street skateboarding gold in Tokyo and Paris, and this is his first Air Force 1 with Nike SB.
On the basketball side, Anthony Edwards' adidas AE 3 'Cold Blooded' (KH8537, $130) is the first Edwards signature on Hyperboost, adidas' beaded PEBA foam, replacing the Lightstrike cushioning used on the AE 1 and AE 2. The colorway is Bliss Blue/Sky Tint/Tech Grey Metallic.

Patrick Mahomes returned from a torn ACL and LCL as the Chiefs beat the Broncos 31-10 on Monday Night Football at Arrowhead. He completed 15 of 27 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score. Kenneth Walker III ran for 173 yards. Mahomes was hurt December 14, 2025, against the Chargers; Kansas City finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
Week 1 also brought a 28-20 Giants win over Dallas in John Harbaugh's first game as head coach, with Jaxson Dart going 23 of 29 for 230 yards and three touchdowns. In Minnesota, Kyler Murray suffered a concussion 11 plays into his Vikings debut, and Carson Wentz threw three touchdowns in a 39-22 win over Green Bay. That campaign previously featured music videos from The Weeknd, Olivia Rodrigo and Lady Gaga. The teaser posted September 10, one day after Apple's iPhone 18 launch event. It's her first single since her December 2024 album rosie, which included "APT." with Bruno Mars.
On the charts, Rod Wave's Don't Look Down held No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for the week of September 12.

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei outlined a three-part plan to "pace the frontier": embedded evaluators from third-party organizations, coordination among leading AI companies on safety standards, and global coordination. He pointed to METR as a model and said Anthropic would give evaluators company badges, desks and laptops. Sam Altman wrote, "I agree with Dario that we need to pace the frontier," and said OpenAI would adopt embedded evaluators. Elon Musk posted "Dario is right." The plan comes as Anthropic prepares for a public offering it expects to match or exceed SpaceX's $75 billion record raise.
