The Nike SB Air Force 1 Low "Light Chocolate" releases today at $120 under style code HM8517-201. The upper is brown suede with black on the Swoosh, laces, heel tab, tongue label and midsole. The SB build adds a reworked midsole for boardfeel plus extra padding at the tongue and sockliner. It launches on SNKRS and at select skate shops.
Two more Nike pairs land the same day: the SLAM x Nike Zoom Hyperflight "Starfish" (IV6130-800) at $170 and the Nike GT Cut "Unseen Hours EYBL" (IX5227-600) at $190. The Chevy x Nike Book 2 "Pretty Penny" (IO9841-900) follows Wednesday at $155, and Friday brings the Nike Shox BB4 OG in Black/Lapis (IR1984-010) at $190. The Dodgers visit the Braves at 7:15 p.m. ET on TBS, the one nationally televised game on a 15-game card that also includes the Astros at the Yankees (7:05 p.m.), the Brewers at the Mets (7:10 p.m.) and the Pirates at the Padres (9:40 p.m.), per ESPN's schedule. Monday's results: the Cubs shut out the Diamondbacks 7-0, the Giants shut out the Reds 5-0, the Nationals beat the Rockies 13-3, the Mariners took the Phillies 9-2, and the Pirates beat the Padres 3-2 in 12 innings.
In the NBA, the league's investigation into the Clippers' Kawhi Leonard endorsement arrangement with Aspiration has completed its fact-finding phase, and the trade sending Leonard to Toronto for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, unprotected 2031 and 2033 first-round picks, 2030 and 2033 second-rounders and a 2027 swap remains on hold pending the league's decision. Leonard has said he expects to be in Toronto for training camp, Yahoo Sports reported.
The WNBA runs three games tonight: Chicago at Connecticut at 7 p.m. ET, Portland at Dallas at 8 p.m. ET on NBA TV, and Washington at Phoenix at 10 p.m. ET, per ESPN.

Katseye's Wild debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated August 29 with 170,000 units, according to Wikipedia's 2026 Billboard 200 chart log. It replaces Stray Kids' This & That, which led the prior week with 369,000 units. Katseye is a HYBE and Geffen joint-venture group formed through a televised audition series.
The next release wave lands Friday, August 28, with albums dated from Rod Wave, E-40, Dahi and Czarface. Last week's slate, led by Rapsody's fifth album alongside Victony and The Game, is covered in Friday's New Music Friday.
Technology
Hugging Face has hired a bank to gauge acquisition interest and is exploring a sale at a valuation of $13 billion or more, Bloomberg reported, citing Business Insider. The company was last valued at $4.5 billion in a 2023 round. No bidder has been named and no deal has been reached. Chief executive Clement Delangue has said the company is close to profitability and has only recently begun drawing on that 2023 capital. Hugging Face hosts and distributes models from OpenAI, Meta and Anthropic, among others.
Elsewhere, Amazon is raising prices on Echo, Kindle and Fire TV hardware by up to 60 percent as memory and storage costs climb, IBM detailed a 2-nanometer processor with 11 cores running above 5.7 GHz that executes both IBM Z and Arm instructions, and nVent agreed to buy Texas switchgear maker Maverick Power for $1.75 billion plus up to $550 million in performance payments through 2028.
