Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson has confirmed he will return for the 2026 NFL season, ending speculation about a potential retirement. Johnson told the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane that he has made up his mind about playing a 14th NFL season. Johnson, 35, missed the final eight games of the 2025 regular season and the Eagles' playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers due to a Lisfranc foot injury. The six-time Pro Bowl selection will return as the anchor of an offensive line undergoing transition, with new offensive line coach Chris Kuper replacing longtime coach Jeff Stoutland, and new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion calling plays for head coach Nick Sirianni. Johnson is owed $41.7 million in cash in 2026.
